My first 'real' memories of Auntie Leah were as a young teen-ager, visiting she and Ken's home in Crawley and meeting Gale and Nikki. I can vividly remember Auntie Leah being really warm and welcoming and looking back her home was what I recall as 1970's Chic ! I recall glass and plants, perhaps like us she and Ken had smoked glass crockery too and perhaps even macrame !

Throughout key periods of my life - my 21st Birthday, my wedding, Nanna and Grandad's Golden Wedding Anniversary, Auntie Leah was there ... a softly spoken and gentle presence, generous in what she had to say and how she conveyed it.

And she was a beauty, inside and out, a woman who shone out naturally.

What a true honour to have known and loved you Auntie Leah.
